Gabriel Injejikian earned his M.A. and B.A. in Education from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He has done post-graduate work at California State University, Los Angeles, and the University of California, Los Angeles. He holds a California Secondary Administrative Credential, as well as a California Secondary Teaching Credential. Mr. Injejikian is the Founding Principal of Holy Martyrs Ferrahian Armenian High School where he served as the school’s principal for 26 years.


Mr. Injejikian has taught English, Social Studies and Mathematics at the high school level in Michigan and California and education courses at Haigazian College in Beirut, Lebanon. In 1997, the Los Angeles Times Valley edition, on the 200 anniversary of San Fernando Valley mission, selected Mr. Injejikian as one of the 200 persons who have left their mark on the San Fernando Valley. Gabriel Injejikian was recognized for his role in transforming a ranch house in Encino into the first Armenian day school in the United States in 1964. This endeavor paved the way for 25 other Armenian day schools to open in the United States. He speaks fluent Armenian and English and understands and speaks basic conversational French, Arabic and Turkish.
