What to do if your child is accepted to ACS
Ararat Charter Schoolís success is made possible by the community of dedicated parents, educators and administrators working collaboratively to meet the needs of the students. To help you learn more about ACS, we ask parents of newly enrolled students to become familiar with our curriculum, school policies, governing institutions as well as key activities.
Requirements of parents of all newly enrolled students
Submit required enrollment documents.
Once an offer has been extended, all parents of newly enrolled students are asked to satisfy certain requirements before their child can be formally enrolled in Ararat Charter School.
If you accept an offer of enrollment, you will be asked to submit enrollment paperwork to Ararat Charter School.
Proof of birth which may include Birth Certificate or Passport.
A completed physicianís health examination form. You can obtain a blank copy of the Report of Health Examination for School Entry - PM 171 A from the ACS office or by going online to the California Department of Health Services
Original immunization records.
Comply with enrollment requirements by the submission deadline.
The deadline for providing required documents varies depending on when your child receives his or her enrollment offer. The date will be given to you when the offer to enroll is extended.
Attend a new parent orientation (Recommended)
This orientation will give you an opportunity to meet school officials as well as members of the faculty. You will be given an overview of our two campuses and learn about how the school is governed. We will also review key policies, major school events and provide an opportunity for you to get answers to your questions during a formal Q&A session.
What happens if I do not turn in the paperwork ACS needs?
If we do not receive all required paperwork by the specified deadlines, your childís enrollment will be withdrawn and their space offered to the next wait list applicant.
