We are excited to let you know that Ararat Charter School has been notified that we will be receiving the California Distinguish School Award. The California DS program recognizes elementary schools that show exemplary performance using California’s multiple measures accountability system to eligible schools based on performance and progress on the state indicators as specified on the California School Dashboard (Dashboard). Information regarding the Dashboard is provided on the California Department of Education (CDE).
This is a great accomplishment for our school and we want to thank all stakeholders including all governing board members, staff, and parents who have helped make this recognition possible for our school. Our school will be receiving this award on May 3, 2018. You can find the state press release at the web address below that displays Ararat Charter School’s name as an award recipient.
